This would be a Great product. My disc contained all manuals through the 2018 model year. So I was able to create PDFs for my 2018 FE501 and my buddy's 2016. Only problem is the delivery on a DVD disc.

Even worse is all the DRM garbage that is infected throughout. Despite being essentially a PDF archive, the files are in a proprietary container format and encrypted in such a way that the DVD is REQUIRED to be in the drive (forget that computers for the last 5+ years don't include DVD drives) whenever you are accessing the content. This is such a pain in the neck, that the best option is to just create a PDF and take that wherever you need to go. However, in creating the PDF, you lose the ability to click shortcut links in the document to move from section to section (e.g., the table of contents). Considering the low cost ($30) of this product, it's really silly that they lock it down so much. It would be better if they just offered $5 digital downloads for indexed PDF copies of the manuals. You can copy the entire disc to a USB key, etc.

However, my intent for this purchase was to upload this on to my phone so I could have access to the service data in the field (I have done this with a couple other bikes). This CD is written in some security software (FluxPlayer) that does not allow me to copy or access it on my phone. I did get the app but the data remains locked. It will only work on a computer and only from the CD.

I do not have an internal CD drive on my computer. I used and external drive and copied it to the hard drive but I cannot read it because of the security. I does not meet my need and I am disappointed by the limited use.
