Customer reviews: Prior to departure we enquired re the availability of a hair dryer in the apartment. Mazda 3 2006 service manual. You confirmed that there was one.
There wasn't!!!! However, apartment owners lent us one for the duration of our stay. An electric kettle would be welcome as electric cooking rings are very slow and not well marked. (ie 1,2,3 etc). We borrowed a kettle from an adjacent (unoccupied) apartment. Molunat was very quiet (enjoyably so) - Restaurant Monica closed on our first full day there, so there were only two bars in the village (again not a problem for us) one not opening until 4pm somedays!!!!!, and no restaurants. Village of Gruda had a very acceptable local restaurant/bar (open all day and accepting Euros) - Bistro Belmondo.
Apartment owner booked a table for us at Konavoski Komin - a car needed but well worth it. Owners will apparently cook for guests IN SEASON. Impressed with: People, cleanliness and ease of motoring.
Favourite villa moment: Peace & view Stayed October 2016 The owner of the apartment was very friendly and helpful, as well as extremely tidy and organised. This property was very unique and perfect for the type of break that I envisaged and the description that you gave was exactly representative. I think it might be advisable to mention the lack of eating establishments available. There was only one limited restaurant, which was good. The apartment was for self-catering and that was fine but on a short holiday I was looking more for eating out. Luckily we had rented a car and were therefore able to go elsewhere otherwise I think we may have found it restrictive.
I would really have appreciated some comfortable sun loungers and parasols to have put out on the rocky shore from which to sunbathe. There were a couple of old sun loungers not very easily accessed which I tried to use but could not get them to work. I did not find lying flat on a concrete slab very relaxing.
This is the one thing that I missed on this holiday. Impressed with: Roads very good but no traffic in the Konvale area that we were staying. Not impressed with: The stagnation of political will to support the endeavours of the local community.
Recommend: We visited Dubrovnik for a day which was a must., and also Cavtat which offered some holiday buzz. Favourite villa moment: We shared a barbecued fish supper in the beach kitchen of our accommodation with another couple who were staying at the same time. They caught the fish and cooked it there and then and we then ate it looking out at our fabulous view of the bay. Stayed June 2016 It’s a beautiful spot, we hope to return especially low or off season. Some better information concerning what was available off season. Also, better signage on appliances including the bathroom water heater would have been helpful.
Impressed with: We were reminded of the good value of a Croatian holiday, also how relatively unspoilt it still is, though this was helped due to it being low season. Food was better than some reviews! Not impressed with: he footpaths on local maps and literature were in some cases very inaccurate.
Recommend: A short hop to the border of Montenegro brings further delights of the historic Hercog Novi and the bay of Kotor. Favourite villa moment: Either buying local strawberries to eat with breakfast on our balcony or swimming in the clear blue sea from the villa steps. Stayed April/May 2013. Impressed with: Too much to list -all good Not impressed with: Nothing Recommend: Too many to list Favourite villa moment: All of it, we will use you again. We loved Croatia!! Stayed August 2017 Good-Excellent. There was some late night noise from the restaurant/bar below the property.
The close proximity of this was not made clear in the brochure description - the word 'nearby' was used. Impressed with: The weather, friendly and helpful people on Brac. Not impressed with: Slow service in some Split restaurants - principally those that catered for tourists.
Stayed July 2012 Good location, very comfortable apartment. Nice views, beautiful sea and gentle people that speak English or German. Stayed June 2010. Customer reviews: Fair-Excellent.
A working shower and better washing machine. (Recommend) Visit old Trogir, old Split and although not in the area Plitvice Lakes were amazing. Favourite villa moment: Children playing in paddling pool. Impressed with: It is our second time. The weather, idyllic setting and beauty. Stayed June 2012 Apartment 2 was great. Very quiet, scenic, tidy with beautiful landscaping.
Host was very good, very helpful, and friendly. Good language skills in English. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a base near seaside in North. KRK Island is nearby but need to plan long drives to Istria, Lakes, etc. As they are distant. So best if you want place on seaside to relax, stay put with maybe closer area visits instead.
Not sure we would book one place again but maybe stay in several for two nights each so we better see country. Like apartments versus hotels but to ease travel would prefer to stay several places versus so much daily driving. (Restaurants) We liked Nada on Vrbnik on KRK Island and Francopan locally. (Enjoyed) Just relaxing out on grounds in sun with sea facing Impressed with: Beautiful country. Friendly people.
Not impressed with: Graffitti and satellite dishes on historic bldgs. Stayed May 2012.
Impressed with: Too much to list -all good Not impressed with: Nothing Recommend: Too many to list Favourite villa moment: All of it, we will use you again. We loved Croatia!! Stayed August 2017 We had a fantastic holiday and the location was amazing. Jade was very helpful in suggesting options when I e-mailed with my criteria (dates, guests, budget, etc). The one thing that we did not receive were recommendations of things to do in the area, for example you could give suggestions of things to see or places to go within a 1 hour radius. There was also very little help in actually finding the villa. There was a small hand draw map which showed the villas location once you had found Seget Vranjica, but no directions on how to get to the village.
We were navigating our way down from Rijeka airport and we did not have a sat nav and we had struggled to buy a Croatian road map both on online before we went and once in Croatia. We enjoyed the challenge and found it eventually but not without taking a few wrong turns and ending up in Trogir and then over shooting the other side before we worked it out. I just think some directions from the different airports as to even which motorways to take would be helpful.
The apartment was great and the location was spectacular. The only issue we had was that there was no oven, just 2 hobs and a microwave so we were unable to cook meals ourselves.
Impressed with: The scenery. Not impressed with: Nothing disappointed us, apart from the very limited signage to Rijeka airport from E65/8 road. Recommend: Ribar restaurant just on the waterfront was wonderful, we ate there 4 times in a week!!
Rogoznica was 20 minutes’ drive away and a lovely town with lots of big yachts! Further up the coast was the picturesque town of Primosten, well worth a visit. The Lakes National Park in the north East is well worth a visit, although you can’t just walk or drive around to see it, you have to park and pay 15 euros to get inside to see any lakes. There are lots of different walking routes around the park ranging from 1 hour to 6 hours so you can pop in for an afternoon or spend a whole day there Favourite villa moment: The stunning view every day, we never tired of it and we couldn't believe how lucky we were with the location. Stayed September 2013 An absolutely amazing view and location. Stayed September 2010. Customer reviews: It was a wonderful place to stay - the location was just perfect with the sea just outside our door and the village itself was lovely.
It was very near to Trogir which was gorgeous. Owners were exceptionally helpful and welcoming - it was like going to stay with family. Impressed with: The scenery. Not impressed with: It was more expensive than I thought it would be. Recommend: Obviously Krka waterfalls, Trogir, Split, Cetina gorge. Local beer cheap and very drinkable!
Favourite villa moment: Getting up in the morning and seeing the sea outside, going down and jumping in before breakfast. Stayed July 2013 It was extremely hot at night. The air conditioning was only in the lounge and we would have benefitted from a fan in each bedroom. But the advantages definitely outweighed the disadvantages and we would very much like to go there again.
The owners were delightful; they made us very welcome, even though we arrived late due to flight delays. They welcomed us with beer and one day even brought us food. Impressed with: The beauty, the cleanliness and the roads. Recommend: Krka National park is beautiful.
The wooden walkways are well maintained and the waterfalls into a lake where you can swim were fantastic. Beware of the underwater rocks though; it is quite tricky traversing them to get to the deeper water. Trogir is a beautiful harbour where you can eat and watch the world go. St Dominik's restaurant was fab. Favourite villa moment: Looking at the view from the balcony each morning. Plus being able to jump into the crystal clear water and cool off. Stayed July 2013 Perfect location - very clean - unfortunately no air conditioning in main bedroom but we got.
The owners of the property went beyond the normal perimeters of looking after us - I have never met such a lovely couple who went all out to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and more. They were happy to give their all and made our holidays one of our best. Impressed with: Value for money Cleanliness Friendly people The masses have not got there yet. Recommend: Ribar bar in Seget good quality and value for money. Mountain Bike hire in Trogir located near the wooden bridge - very helpful and can deliver bikes to the apartment. Favourite villa moment: The location.
Stayed July 2013. Customer reviews: We have just returned from our holiday in Croatia where we stayed in two of the properties handled by you. Both places we stayed were really good but particularly the one in Seget Vranjica where we spent the first week. The apartment was absolutely fantastic with excellent terraces to front and side, in a superb location. The owners were kind and helpful and made the whole experience perfect.
We just wish we had stayed there longer. When you go self-catering you always take a bit of a chance on the quality of accommodation.
On this occasion it was just brilliant. Stayed June 2017 It is comfortable, has character, beautiful views and immediate access to the sea. A folder with local information and helpful tips about the property would have been useful. We found owner very friendly and kind. It helped that we spoke German and Italian as she explained she does not speak much English.
Impressed with: The beauty of the coast and the friendliness of the people. Not impressed with: The outskirts of the towns and the utilitarian buildings. Recommend: The Ribar in Seget Vranjika is excellent - good value for money, lovely food including very good grilled fish.
Also friendly and relaxed. In Trogir, which is a fascinating old town, we liked the restaurant Vranjaka. Visiting the Krka National Park is worth doing, and swimming under the waterfall! If possible, eat beforehand as the restaurant there is rather busy and uninspiring.
Split and the Diocletian Palace is definitely worth a visit. We had a lovely meal there at Kod Joze. Favourite villa moment: One of many favourite villa moments was getting up in the morning and going down for a swim before breakfast. Stayed September 2015 Impressed with: Beautiful coastline, wonderful historic sites, great sea-swimming, charming, friendly & helpful people. Recommend: Very well situated for the beautiful town of Trogir, the sights of Split & ferries to the Dalmatian islands.
Stayed July/August 2015. Customer reviews: They took care of everything we needed and were very helpful. Brought us a bottle of house wine as well!:) It was wrong check-in hotel. We were told that Croatian villas have not changed this info despite informing about this mistake!

Only thing - I didn't like extra fee when making transaction. Impressed with: Nature, beach & weather conditions Not impressed with: Rain for two days, but this never can be predictable:) Recommend: Explore the whole island! Favourite villa moment: Special offer: 30% discount & complimentary breakfast. Otherwise we would have chosen another villa. Standard offer is too expensive! Villa Comments: Correct check in details have been updated. Stayed August 2012 It can be quite noisy, in the evening, it's situated above a cafe.
And the little town comes alive in the evening. In general yes, good service at the reception of the hotel, the owner of the apartment helped with the removal of the wasps nest, but couldn't help us with the wifi. We booked an boat at aventur. Boat was somewhat old but working, service was good and most of the time friendly. Thanks for all your help with our special questions, everything we asked for was picked up fast and flexible and friendly!! Impressed with: Coast, sea, all towns are well kept.
Recommend: Restaurant panorama, Stayed July/August 2012 Really lovely location - overlooking the small harbour at Splitska Stayed August 2009. Good range of properties that fulfilled my requirements all at reasonable prices.
We have stayed in a few properties in Croatia, this was better equipped than most and was in a fantastic location both in terms of proximity to the sea and the little village it was in, with both shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Everything was provided. The owners were really friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. It was all very easy, communication from you was clear and very good. Prices very reasonable too. Impressed with: Friendly, welcoming people, great climate, gorgeous scenery.
Clear, clean, warm sea. Good food, wine and beer. Not impressed with: Nothing. Recommend: Split: Pizzeria Portas, Split / Trogir: Dionis Restaurant, Trogir - great fish / Konoba Ribar in Seget Vranjica - fabulous restaurant with amazing hosts in walking distance of the villa / Krka National Park / Sibenik Favourite villa moment: Sunbathing on the lovely huge terrace, looking over the beautiful sea. Stayed August/September 2017 Good quality villas with a high level of information, reasonable prices and I felt more secure dealing with a British company. The terrace, pool and proximity to the sea are the wonderful features of this property.
The apartment itself was absolutely fine, but nothing special. The wifi was very flaky in the evenings and our kids had trouble streaming video, which they like to do briefly before bedtime. If flippers & snorkel gear had been provided, it would have saved a lot of space in our luggage. But maybe most people fell more comfortable with their own for hygiene reasons?
Some more structured information about local places to hire boats /water activities to do etc might have made things a little easier, but we did manage well using the internet. The owner was very helpful in all respects.
Croatia was our best family holiday so far. Impressed with: Really beautiful, friendly people. A great mixture of culture and activities Not impressed with.
Nothing significant. Recommend: There are 4 restaurants within walking distance, all around the harbour and all quite reasonable. I don't think the details provided led us to expect more than one, so this was a pleasant surprise. The Villa Mediterana was the best, most expensive and furthest away.
The 3 on the south side of the harbour did not seem very keen to serve desserts, so we tended to use the pancake stall on the north side of the harbour, which was open all hours. We hired a jet ski from the harbour side, which was the highlight of the holiday for our teenager. The peddallo with the slide was a remarkable success for an hour, very cheap and enjoyable.
We also went rafting in the Cetina River to the east of Split and had a meal afterwards at the open air restaurant at the end point. The Okrug Gornji beach was far too crowded and commercial for our taste, but the teenagers enjoyed the inflatable adventure playground there. Favourite villa moment: An early morning dip in the sea or the pool basketball game devised your son, using plastic chairs as hoops! Stayed July 2017 Croatian Villa Comments Glad you enjoyed your stay and we appreciate you taking the time to send us our feedback. Boats/sports equipment rental are generally available in the main destinations.

We can’t always offer details as often these services are provided by small operators and they constantly change/move, so we cannot guarantee the same services and prices will be offered year to year at the same place. For additional information where not provided on our website do speak with one of our villa consultants who have a lot of knowledge of the destinations and villas.
Internet in Croatia can be slow and usage at villas is really offered for checking e-mails, browsing the internet. Watching videos is generally considered excess usage and if available can be subject to additional charge. Please refer to paragraph 15.4 of our for details on internet usage. Owner was very friendly and very helpful.
A really nice family Impressed with: The sea and the culture Not impressed with: The traffic jam Recommend: The fish restaurant on the other side of the village within a 10 minutes’ walk. The fish market in the town Trogir and the ancient part of Trogir, a cultural highlight. Favourite villa moment: When the owner, offered us a lot of self prepared mussels Stayed July 2016. Customer reviews: Our apartment in Medulin was great for just the two of us.
Hadn't expected quite the culture shock of it being such a family destination at the beach but the apartment being the other end of the main area, with some really nice restaurants close by, suited fine plus we enjoyed exploring the national park and Pula, plus cycling etc Stayed July 2017 The family are charming people. The father was there every day pool-cleaning and tending the gardens. They really do care about the contentment of their visitors. We stayed two weeks. On the first day of week 2 they changed the sheets and towels and did a good clean.
BUT they didn't give us toilet paper for week 2. I asked for some and he gave me one roll, but I thought 'What a shame to give the illusion of being tight-fisted' when he is NOT tight-fisted. A quiet word in his ear is required; two rolls for week two, automatically, please. If anyone asks for suggestions for a holiday, then send them to IS002A. It's wonderful.
Impressed with: Istria is full of interesting history, some pre-Roman. The people made a huge impression. Many of them speak excellent English and are genuinely Europeans. They are good entrepreneurs and there are lots of things to do. Not impressed with: The run-of-the-mill tourist restaurants. Recommend: The best for meat is 'Salt and Pepper' on the road to the harbour and for fish it is Ristorante Mizerija, on the sea's edge round the corner. The zipwire at 'Adrenailin Park' is good and must be followed by the zipwire at Pazinska jama, 35 miles north.
Favourite villa moment: Diving into the pool at the end of the day. That really makes this villa stand out from others that are available. Stayed June/July 2017 Villa Comments: For self-catering properties, items such as toilet paper, washing up liquid/cleaning products are not included in rentals although often items from previous guests are left at the villa for next guest use. Customer reviews: The apartment was very dark and the lights in the room were not very cosy. Owner was very helpful.
Not impressed with: Food, unfriendly people Property response: I suppose that they were very dissapointed about the weather, it was raining all the time the whole week, very cold, they had heating on. Regarding the lights: there are 2x ceiling lights ( each with 3 bulbs in) and a lamp beside the sofa bed in the living room, again such a ceiling light and two lamps on each side of the bed in the bedroom. There is also a neon over the sink and one over the electric hob. Stayed May 2013 It was perfect for our needs, demands and wishes. The only things are: - it is situated in the middle of industrial harbours which does not give the best feelings. But you do not feel any impact in the quality of the environment In general it was a very beautiful villa with an amazing pool and private beach!!! Thanks for this proposal. I already recommended you to several of my friends.
Impressed with: Sealine Nature Food Not impressed with: People Cleanliness of the country Recommend: Pizzera Petrus Restaurant Kokaban (or similar) was an excelent seefood restaurant both directly in the town Favourite villa moment: Relaxing at the pool or beach. It was so quite - no Mallorca-beach-feeling at all. Perfectly for coming down from the stress.
Stayed August 2012. Customer reviews: Great apartment, but nightly music concerts just meters from our windows until up to 4am in the morning were a nightmare. Impressed with:Clear sea, great food. Not impressed with: The loud music until 4 am in the morning.
Recommend: Spizza restaurant for breakfast and pizza. Marko's for fish platter. Favourite villa moment: When the music stopped at 4 am on our final morning. Villa Comments: There was a municipality day on the 15 August in Jelsa, and there was a concert on Aug 14 and 15. It was really extremely noisy concert, so the number of house owners (including me) filed a complaint to the city mayor. Besides Aug 14 and 15 there was also a wine fair on Aug 29-30 with one more concert although it is a less noisy one. On all the other days the level of noise is typical for a summer touristic destinations.
I have already given my apologies to Ms.Quinn prior to her departure. Stayed August 2014. Customer reviews: It was a nice quiet place with a great view. Stayed October 2011 We loved the location.
Owner was very helpful. One criticism that may help further rentals though - The property is really quite difficult to find until you know where it is! We were lucky in the end as the owner met us later in the day and lead the way there. We found them very generous spirited. Great weather, beautiful sea, friendly people, beautiful national parks, great fresh produce market in Trogir.
Stayed May 2011 Prior to our departure staff were very helpful and prompt in dealing with replies. The girls who waited for us on arrival and communicated with us during our stay were fantastic. Very pleased with their helpfulness. Better bed linen could have been provided and maybe some replacement linen so that we could change this mid-week. The property was in a remote area but the location in the bay was lovely.
It was peaceful and quite. As the property was quite remote some basic items such as bread/milk/laundry detergent at the property on arrival would have been welcomed. Impressed with: Beautiful sea Not impressed with: Lack of choice in restaurants.
Favourite villa moment: We just enjoyed being by the sea in a peaceful location. Stayed July/August 2014.
Customer reviews: The most charming owners and so helpful. They were delightful. It is gorgeous. Tiny bit noisy in the evenings because of the live music played in Legends pub, but it ends by 12.30 latest. No noise from restaurant. I did let you know that we had decided to hire a car and you did not pass this information on to the owners.
As it turned out, they gave us their own parking space but had that not been available, this could have been a problem. Croatian Villas agent was charming and helpful.
Impressed with: The beauty of the place. Not impressed with: I think Croatia needs to be careful with their new hotels as they seem to be large block like structures and not in keeping with the beautiful surroundings.
Recommend: We loved Trogir. We thought that two restaurants were especially good.
Le Guide Du Routard
'Toni' and 'Marina' and both have a gorgeous position. Favourite villa moment: Throwing back the shutters each morning onto the beautiful view, or possibly sipping gin and tonics on the balcony in the evenings and watching the world go! Stayed August-September 2015. Customer reviews: Owner is brilliant. She's a family friend now!
Impressed with: People Not impressed with: Too busy now! Recommend: Kapun for food Day boat trips to Lokrum, Lopud and Cavtat Favourite villa moment: Terrace views all day Stayed July 2016 Owner was fantastic. Maybe it should be mentioned that the shower cubicle is up a step which makes it a little difficult to get into. Impressed with: Reasonable prices the quality of the food in the restaurants and how beautiful it is. Not impressed with: Some staff in shops appear a little surly/ serious Recommend: The horizont restaurant just outside the town near the accommodation was excellent Favourite villa moment: Sitting on the balcony each morning in the Sun with a coffee Stayed September 2015 Excellent.
Keep up the good work! Impressed with: People, food, value, scenery Not impressed with: Lack of sandy beaches Recommend: Kopun is a superb restaurant and the cable car trip is great fun. The basic restaurnat juts along the road is also great value/good food Favourite villa moment: Breakfast on the terrace. Customer reviews: Amazing views from this property. Excellent cleaning staff. Hotel staff didn't explain how to get hot water (or heating which we never succeeded in getting and certainly needed it last week) which would have been helpful at the outset. Lots of semi wild cats around - due to proximity of fish processing plant no doubt - and the upstairs of the apartment did smell of cats - one day we found a cat inside the apartments so I imagine they are getting in and weeing/spraying whilst people have their French doors open.
Might be worth informing people of the need to be vigilant / keep doors closed as the smell wasn't pleasant and will only get worse. Impressed with: Cleanliness Absence of tourist tat. Not impressed with: Manner of staff in immigration. Recommend:Walk round to Splitska for a meal in either restaurant Favourite villa moment: When the sun eventually came out. Waking up with the view of the mainland from your bed is pretty impressive Stayed May/June 2013.
