Mazak Integrex Manuals

Hello I own a small job shop and went out on a high limb and bought a used integrex 200SY with a 640 mt control. I had a guy that cam in and set the machine up but he was not a programmer. I need some help getting going on the programming. I have the books but they seem to just stop short of taking you through writing a program and set up the tools. The only experience we have is I ran a Hass machining center where I worked once. I have 5 Trak 3 axis mills and a TRAK toolroom mill, they all are conversational controls and we have those mastered.

This however is a whole new ballgame. I am trying to find somebody local to come in and do some training but am chasing phone numbers right now. Thank You Similar Threads:.

Need Help!-. Need Help!-. Need Help!-. Need Help! Hello, congrats on your machine. It may be time to invest in a quality programming software like Master cam or Gibbs you have a lot more axises to control on a high end machine like you integrex.

If you really want to manual program this machine start out with the basics and go from there. If there are any programs left in the machine from the last owner this may be a great help in giving you a template of what your programs should look like or you could modify to get you up and running. I would also look in the programmers manual / controller that came with the machine there maybe a form of conversational programming. Alot of the newer machines have it you just have to know where to look. Just a couple of ideas for you. Hope it helps. Than you for the response, yes I am planning on going to Chicago thursday to look at software.

I did finally get the book out. However I have yet to find where it says start here 'pick up tools, write program, execute.' I think the Mazatrol will be easy enough to handle I am just trying to figure out how to get the tools loaded. I dont even see a tool change button. I need to figure if I have to input that in MDI as Gand M code or if there is a way to say pick tool Number 3 from the too carousel and push something and it goes to tool 3 and loads in spindle.

Still looking for advice and someone to come in. Thanks, I would like to look at that but after I bought the machine i heard that was good software so I had them quote and just for one seat and some training it was like 18000 dollars. I think we can get a handle on the mazatrol which I would like to do first. But right now I cant figure out how to reference the tools in the mazatrol. Still going through the book.

Look for something that says, 'load tool-pick up here and enter here, write mazatrol program- fill in the blanks for what is need, and execute- cycle start. ' So far i havent found that. Even if some one has some simple programs I could review. There were none left in the memory fo the machine. People always do this and then do not budget enough time and money for training. Even the average above-average machinist cannot learn a new machine system in a day.

Even 3 days is not enough for most. I trained a guy in New Mexico for nearly 40 hours on a Haas TL-3 back in July.

Up until 2 weeks ago, he was still making mistakes on tool setting. You seriously should consider sending yourself or one of your guys for training -.Those classes are useless. I could keep because for the most part because I already knew what I was doing. But someone new to the cnc/mazak worldn't stand a chance. They cover to much in to short of a time and dont teach you on what the commands do just. Do this do that.
